When a child is in hospital, families don’t just visit; family stays. But staying close isn’t always easy.Many families are suddenly faced with long travel, time away from home, and the emotional and financial pressure that comes with a child’s illness. Everyday life is turned upside down, and simple things- like a place to sleep, a warm meal, or being together- can become overwhelming challenges.
That’s why I’m fundraising this Christmas to ensure the families of seriously sick kids stay close to their child, with the support they need around them, during one of the hardest times in their lives.
I'm raising funds to help families stay close to their child in hospital. Your support will provide a home-away-from-home near the hospital, daily meals, emotional care and more.
