Families like Harrison's are counting on us
Six-year-old Harrison’s family has been staying at Ronald McDonald House Westmead since he was diagnosed with a high-risk cancer last year.
Mum Rachel says, “Having a place where we could stay close to the hospital and be together as a family has meant so much to us. It has helped us through some of our hardest days and made an incredibly difficult journey feel a little less lonely. The support we have received, from accommodation and meals to emotional support and family programs, has helped us get through a year that we never imagined we would have to face.”
This year, almost 8,800 families have already been supported by Ronald McDonald House Greater Western Sydney across a range of services, but more families need our help.
